New Clients or current clients are PEOPLE, not slot machines that sometimes pay off and sometimes do not. They engaged your services or bought your product because you had something that they needed, and had the confidence you would deliver. Your customers expect you to be knowledgeable, competent and trustworthy to deliver what you committed to deliver. Do not disappoint them. Be straightforward, and honest about your ability or your company’s ability to deliver. If you oversell: yourself, product or service for the sake of new business you are the LOSER ! Your customer will somehow end up working things out but it will not be with YOU –EVER.
